Reviews and Ratings
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was old-style but clean and had a wonderful bed, with a jacuzzi in the small, but adequate bathroom. The location was perfect, right in the hub of town, making everything within walking distance. The staff were friendly and meticulous in the upkeep, but the dining experience was a bit lacking in variety.
I couldn't have asked for a better stay at this hotel. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and offered great value for the price. They contained an enormous bed, two armchairs, a desk, a flat-screen TV, and patio doors to a private balcony. Additionally, access to another room with a king-sized bed and a small but adequate bathroom made my stay even more enjoyable. The location is perfect, within easy walking distance to town, shops, and restaurants, making it very central and convenient for exploring the area. The service was very friendly, although there was a slight delay with the room being cleaned when we arrived late. The dining experience was satisfactory with a variety of breakfast options available. Overall, a great find with everything you need for a pleasant stay.
The hotel is in a great location, right in the hub of town within walking distance to everything and close to downtown Manitou. The rooms, though quite cool, smelled a bit musty but were huge, clean, and comfortable. The service was quick, kind, friendly, and helpful, even when I arrived late. The dining options were limited, with only pastries available, and the remains were still out on the counter during my stay. The facilities were basic but provided all I needed, and the price was considered fair for the value.
Staying at By the Brook was a good experience overall. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was sweet and very accommodating. The location is very convenient, right smack dab in the middle of Manitou Springs, allowing easy access to shops and dining. The dining experience was just right before heading off on a nearby adventure. However, the hotel could improve on breakfast options, and some aspects of cleanliness may be concerning.
I lucked out with this hotel! It's conveniently located near all the attractions in Manitou Springs, making it super easy to explore. The rooms were incredibly clean and impressively spacious, offering a country elegance feel. The service was top-notch, with a friendly team that catered to my needs daily. While the dining options were somewhat limited, the price was fair overall. The location is unbeatable for sightseeing, but just watch out for noise from the busy fire/police department nearby.
Wow! I loved my stay at this hotel. The rooms, despite being a bit old, were surprisingly clean and fresh-smelling, complete with a huge jacuzzi tub and a cool rainfall shower head. The service was top-notch, with VERY friendly staff and meticulous upkeep. The location couldn't have been better, within easy walking distance to town and all the shops and restaurants. The dining experience offered different types of cereal with milk, tasty pastries, juice, coffee, and fruits. However, it was a bit disappointing that dining options seemed limited. Overall, a fantastic experience that felt like a hidden gem.
